How to make your wedding look camera friendly:
(1) Time before the wedding:
I like to get reenactment shots of the bride & groom getting dressed (make-up, putting on ear rings, shoes, jackets) make sure dressing room is clean looking.
(2) Give time to set up or take down equipment: (10 – 15 mins)
This is done usually right when I arrive but if you would like to go off location for pictures before the wedding starts then I won’t set up the cameras until we get back for the ceremony. After the ceremony I need time to take them down so I can follow you to the next location for pictures.
(3) View Blocking :
Make sure guest know to stay out of the aisle at all times, also please make sure only the photographer & videographer are on the dance floor for the First Dance, Father/Daughter & Mother/Son Dance.
(4) Good lighting:
Lighting is a big part of video and if it’s too dark then the video turns out grainy. It's better to just keep the lights on.
(5) Bride & groom interviewing:
If you decide to do the interviews then the best time to do this is before the wedding. Make sure you show up early and let me know when you will be there for the interviews. The bride and groom will be interviewed separate. It’s always good to have a room with good lighting and a quite place so no background noise is picked up.
Remember to make your video look good you have to work for the camera.
Please send us all your music before the wedding so that your video can be worked on A.S.A.P. Thank You!
